Call for Volunteers: Larry Bremner Trail Work Party

Volunteers needed to help remediate this important horse trail on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th

Time: 10:00AM – 2:00PM
Location: Thornhill Trail system, on 256th Street
Meeting point: drive up the gravel road to the upper Tower Trail entrance, which is just below TELUS tower; roadside parking is available there. Alex will have the lower gate open for access.

Work: includes dismantling of decaying jumps/dealing with safety issues along Larry Bremner trail, sign installation at upper intersection and possibly other delineation efforts to better route oncoming traffic at the Blue Suede/Tower/Larry Bremner intersection.
Tools: Alex will bring needed tools as well as possibly the Trails UTV. Please feel free to bring your own tools as well – digging spades, hard garden rakes, etc.

Alex will be your City contact for the duration of the workbee this Sunday. His phone number is 604-323-4956. He will also have a volunteers sign-in sheet that should be signed by all involved. It would be great to get between 5 and 8 volunteers out!
